During his time with the Dragons, Smart was an All-Region and two-time All-GLIAC stand-out across his three seasons, leading the team to two NCAA Regionals appearances. Nigerian-born Smart Osadolor secured his future in the States with FirstPoint USA back in 2012, having recently completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Exercise at the University of the West of Scotland – committing to NCAA Division II institution Tiffin University in Ohio to play for the men’s soccer team.

Results

Smart has since gone on to play for a multitude of professional football clubs, including Elgin City FC and Annan Athletic, both sitting firmly within the SPFL pyramid and allowing him to balance his playing career with a successful off-pitch financial services background, most recently working as a KYC Analyst for KPMG, one of the “Big Four” firms in the global accountancy sector.

Meet Smart

Nigerian-born Smart Osadolor secured his future in the States with FirstPoint USA back in 2012, having recently completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Exercise at the University of the West of Scotland – committing to NCAA Division II institution Tiffin University in Ohio to play for the men’s soccer team.

Smart’s college athletics career got off to a flying start and never showed any signs of slowing. During his time with the Dragons, Smart was an All-Region and two-time All-GLIAC stand-out across his three seasons, leading the team to two NCAA Regionals appearances. He also added two GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week awards to his trophy cabinet.

It wasn’t just on-pitch success that defined Smart’s collegiate career at Tiffin. A determined and highly-motivated scholar, he graduated with a 3.7/4.0 GPA and gained his MBA in General Management and International Business before moving back to Scotland to kick off his professional career.
